The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join our IT team and be part of the scoping, design and implementation of our new CRM.
In the first instance, this is a 3-month fixed term employment contract covering the feasibility phase. However, this role (subject to board approval of the implementation) is expected to be an ongoing permanent role and will transition to the CRM Product Owner.
This project will be a significant transformational piece of work for Cancer Council WA. We are looking for someone passionate and excited with the prospect of being part of the journey.
Based in Subiaco, this position is full-time, fixed-term until May 2025, with a strong possibility of extension as above.
What you’ll be doing:
The focus of this role for the first 3 months is to:
- Gather, validate, document and prioritise high level business requirements across all Divisions at Cancer Council WA
- Schedule vendor workshops and ensure all staff are briefed on workshop expectations.
- Attend all vendor workshops and coordinate the overall prioritisation of requirements.
- Review all vendor outputs to ensure they are consistent with the workshop outcomes and manage Cancer Council WA feedback to the vendor.
- Support the development of the CRM replacement business case.
The medium-term focus of this role during the implementation will expand to also include:
- Support Cancer Council WA staff and the vendor with detailed requirements gathering.
- Review vendor specifications to ensure they are complete and consistent with requirements.
- Manage the design, development and execution of testing plans in conjunction with the relevant Cancer Council WA team.
- Track and manage change and issue logs, including liaising with the vendor.
- Support the development of business process documentation and training material.
- Support the business transition and help embed the change
And once the new CRM has been selected and implemented, this role will become the CRM Product Owner.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Experience with CRM systems, (Salesforce or similar)
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ideally, experience with data modelling, database design, SQL and integration techniques / technologies.
- Well-developed interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite and ideally experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI.
- Bachelor’s degree in related discipline
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the values of Cancer Council WA
