The opportunity
Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, you will be responsible for providing administration and operational support to the Marketing and Communications Team, including campaign and program marketing and communications support.
Based in Subiaco, this position is full-time 1.0FTE, fixed term until 30 June 2025.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assisting in scheduling and monitoring the Cancer Council WA social media channels
- Providing internal and external communications support.
- Supporting marketing and communications activities and campaigns as required
- Tracking and reporting on campaigns and marketing activities
- Monitoring and administering several email inboxes, ensuring responses to enquires are provided within set timeframes
- Assisting with budget and bank reconciliation
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in multifaceted administrative support
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level organisational skills and ability to work under pressure with demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Experience in social media management
- Experience in delivering internal and external communications
- Intermediate computer and keyboard skills – Microsoft Office Suite and other databases
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the values of Cancer Council WA
- Positive approach to the workplace
